Catherine Vingerhoets,

Physiotherapist, Aquatic Therapist

​

Catherine graduated from Queen's University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in 2005 and McMaster University in 2007 with a Master of Science (Physiotherapy).

She has 10 experience working in the rehabilitation and acute care settings in Barrie, Ontario, and Oamaru, New Zealand. Her work and expertise has focused on neurological rehabilitation treating patients with stroke, acquired brain injury, Parkinson's, MS and amputees. 

Catherine has clinical experience in aquatic therapy from Australia, New Zealand and Canada. She has recently started a private practice, Ora Physiotherapy in Barrie, with a focus on aquatic therapy, neurological rehabilitation and pelvic health.

Catherine is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand. She is a member of the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association (NDTA) and is a NDT certified therapist. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and outdoor adventures with her husband Mike, their daughter Brennan and Vizsla pup Airlie.
